Table of Contents
On this page, you can download free model paper PDFs for all major competitive exams. Every model paper is prepared strictly as per the latest exam pattern and syllabus, and comes with a detailed answer key so you can evaluate your performance immediately after attempting the paper.
Why Solve Model Papers Before the Exam?
Many aspirants complete the syllabus but still struggle on exam day. The reason is simple – knowing the concepts is not the same as applying them under time pressure. Here is what regular practice with model papers gives you:
- Real exam experience: Model papers follow the exact pattern, marking scheme and difficulty level of the actual exam, so there are no surprises on exam day.
- Time management: You learn how much time to spend on each section and which questions to skip.
- Accuracy improvement: With negative marking in most exams, attempting fewer questions with higher accuracy often scores better than attempting everything.
- Weak area identification: After every paper, the answer key shows exactly which topics need revision.
- Confidence building: Solving 15–20 full-length model papers before the exam removes exam-day anxiety almost completely.

SSC CGL Model Paper PDF
The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam tests four sections – General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension – with 25 questions each. Each question carries 2 marks and there is a negative marking of 0.50 marks for every wrong answer.
Our SSC CGL model papers are designed at the same difficulty level as recent CGL papers, with extra focus on the calculation-heavy Quant section and current-affairs-based GA questions. Solving at least 2–3 CGL model papers per week in the last two months before the exam is strongly recommended.
SSC CHSL Model Paper PDF
SSC CHSL Tier 1 follows a pattern very similar to CGL but with slightly easier difficulty. The exam has 100 questions for 200 marks to be solved in 60 minutes, with 0.50 negative marking. Since CHSL cut-offs are usually very high, accuracy matters more than attempts. Use the model papers to push your accuracy above 90% while keeping your attempts high.
Bank PO Model Paper PDF (IBPS PO & SBI PO)
Bank PO prelims (both IBPS and SBI) test three sections – English Language (30 questions), Quantitative Aptitude (35 questions) and Reasoning Ability (35 questions) – in 60 minutes with sectional timing of 20 minutes each. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer.
Banking exams are speed-based exams. The questions are not extremely difficult, but solving 100 questions in 60 minutes requires serious practice. Our Bank PO model papers include the latest question types – wrong-number series, data interpretation sets, puzzles, seating arrangements and reading comprehension – exactly as they appear in recent IBPS and SBI papers.
RRB NTPC Model Paper PDF
RRB NTPC CBT 1 has 100 questions – General Awareness (40), Mathematics (30) and General Intelligence & Reasoning (30) – with a 90-minute duration and 1/3rd negative marking. General Awareness is the most scoring and the most unpredictable section, so our NTPC model papers include a strong mix of static GK, railways-related questions and recent current affairs.
All RRB NTPC model papers are available in both English and Hindi, matching the bilingual format of the actual computer-based test.
RRB Group D & Other Railway Exams
RRB Group D model papers cover Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science and General Awareness as per the latest CBT pattern. General Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology of Class 10 level) carries significant weight in Group D, so we have included dedicated science-heavy practice sets as well.
How to Use Model Papers Effectively
- Simulate exam conditions: Sit in a quiet place, set a timer for the exact exam duration, and attempt the paper in one sitting without breaks.
- Don't check answers mid-way: Complete the full paper first, then evaluate using the answer key.
- Analyse every paper: Spend at least 45–60 minutes analysing each paper. Note down wrong attempts, skipped questions and time-consuming questions.
- Maintain an error notebook: Write down the concepts behind every wrong answer and revise the notebook weekly.
- Track your scores: Maintain a simple score sheet. Your scores should show a clear upward trend over 10–15 papers.
- Attempt online mock tests too: PDF model papers are great for concept practice, but also attempt online mock tests to get used to the computer-based test interface.
Model Papers vs Previous Year Papers – Which Is Better?
Both serve different purposes. Previous year papers show you exactly what the commission has asked in the past – they are the best source for understanding question trends. Model papers, on the other hand, are built on the latest pattern and include new question types that have recently started appearing. The ideal strategy is to solve all available previous year papers first, then move to model papers in the final phase of preparation.
